This makes me sad.

Witherspoon and Phillippe Split

Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe have reportedly separated after seven years of marriage.

According to TMZ.com, the "Cruel Intentions" stars haven't filed divorce papers, but the Oscar-winning actress has enlisted divorce-lawyer-to-the-stars Robert Kaufman, famous for extricating Jennifer Aniston, Roseanne and Lisa Marie Presley from their wedding vows.

The 30-year-old Witherspoon and her 32-year-old husband met at her 21st birthday party. They have two children, Ava and Deacon.

Witherspoon and Phillippe's reps presented TMZ with the following statement: "We are saddened to announce that Reese & Ryan have decided to formally separate. They remain committed to their family and we ask that you please respect their privacy and the safety of their children at this time."

An unnamed source tells the celebrity site that the cause for the split was "cumulative." Expect plenty of additional details in the days to come.

SAD, huh? I thought they were so cute. It's hard when people get together so young though. Not too many of those end up working out--you just change so much. But they seemed like they really tried.

This makes me sad too- I'm not much of a celebrity buff but I do notice who's pregnant when I'm pregnant. Ava was born in the same month as Macey so I've always liked Reese Witherspoon's little family. Oh well! I'm sure it's hard to stay married in Hollywood.

Isn't that so sad? They married young and have the cutest little family. I was really rooting for them. Oh well... I think it has a lot to do with Reese's career taking off.

She is just one that I have always liked. I remember when they first go together. She was soo young, I didn't think they would last ... and then they seemed to be doing so well. So committed. It just makes you wonder if anyone can really make it - in Hollywood that is. Who's next? Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos?

Thanks for stopping by ladies. I appreciate it!!
